Welcome to Firewood Marketplace Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or placing an order through our website (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using our services.

Our Site operates as both:

  1. A marketplace platform connecting customers with independent firewood suppliers; and

  2. A direct retailer for certain products sold and delivered by Firewood Marketplace Pty Ltd itself.

Use of the Site indicates that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.


2. Marketplace Role

When purchasing from independent suppliers listed on our platform:

  • We act solely as a facilitator between you and the supplier.

  • The contract of sale exists between you and the independent seller.

  • We are not responsible for the quality, delivery, or performance of products sold by third-party sellers, except where required by law.

  • Each supplier is responsible for fulfilling orders, providing accurate product descriptions, and complying with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

We monitor supplier performance and may remove or suspend sellers who fail to meet our service standards.


3. Products Sold by Firewood Marketplace Pty Ltd

When you purchase products sold directly by Firewood Marketplace Pty Ltd:

  • The sale contract is with Firewood Marketplace Pty Ltd.

  • We warrant that our products are accurately described, properly seasoned, and suitable for the stated purpose.

  • Deliveries are handled by our approved logistics partners or internal delivery service.


4. Orders & Payment

  • Orders are placed through our online checkout system or by phone on 1800 435 263.

  • All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.

  • Payment methods include major credit/debit cards, PayPal, or other options displayed at checkout.

  • Full payment is required at the time of ordering unless otherwise arranged in writing.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order due to errors in pricing, availability, or suspected fraud.


5. Delivery Terms

  • Delivery timeframes vary depending on product availability, supplier location, and seasonal demand.

  • Estimated delivery windows are typically 1 – 5 days, but may be longer during peak firewood season.

  • Customers must provide clear access for delivery vehicles.

  • If delivery cannot be completed due to inaccessible premises or incorrect address details, additional charges may apply for re-delivery.


6. Refunds & Cancellations

We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described.

Refund requests for change-of-mind purchases are assessed case-by-case. Where an order has already been dispatched, delivery and handling fees may not be refundable.

For marketplace orders, refund or replacement claims should first be made directly to the individual supplier. If unresolved, contact us and we’ll assist in mediating a fair outcome.


7. Supplier Standards

Independent sellers using our platform must:

  • Provide accurate product information.

  • Supply legally sourced firewood.

  • Deliver within reasonable timeframes.

  • Honour consumer guarantees under the ACL.

Suppliers who fail to meet these standards may be suspended or removed without notice.


8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Firewood Marketplace Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of the Site or products purchased through it.

  • Our total aggregate liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the purchase price of that order.

  • We are not responsible for delivery delays or issues caused by third-party couriers or independent suppliers.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.


9. Privacy & Data

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We only share information with suppliers as necessary to process and deliver your order.


10. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, graphics, images, and branding, is owned or licensed by Firewood Marketplace Pty Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written consent.


11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect once published on our website. Continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

TERMS & CONDITIONS - DELIVERIES

DELIVERY BULK FIREWOOD

Ordering bulk firewood by phone or online typically takes 1 to 5 days for delivery, depending on the daily delivery schedules.

Other factors such as weather conditions, machinery breakdowns, or high demand may occasionally cause delays. In such cases, we’ll notify you as soon as possible. Our aim is always to have your firewood and products delivered as quickly as we can.

We don’t provide exact delivery times unless your order is booked at least 1 to 2 weeks in advance. Scheduled delivery times are available for early mornings or late afternoons.

If you’d like a 30-minute notice before delivery, please let us know when placing your order. If you’d like to schedule a specific day or date, please include this request in your delivery instructions at checkout.

When expecting a delivery, please ensure the drop-off area is not blocked if you won’t be home at the time of delivery.

All Orders Must Have Delivery Instructions (Where To Drop Firewood) When Looking At House From Road.

When ordering your firewood, please let us know exactly where you’d like it delivered.

For example:

  • On red gravel next to your driveway

  • On the driveway in front of your garage door

  • In front of your gate on the right-hand side of your house

  • Or at your front door

Providing clear instructions helps us keep your delivery fast and efficient.

We use tipper trucks for delivery, so the firewood slides safely off the back tray directly to your specified spot.

Dangerous Delivery

Our goal is to deliver your firewood exactly where you want it, as quickly as possible. However, if the area is unsafe for tipping or there’s a risk of damaging property or our delivery vehicles, the driver may need to choose an alternative spot.

If a second suitable location is not available, an $88 delivery/cancellation fee may apply. Please note, this has never happened before, so we appreciate your flexibility in providing a backup drop-off spot if needed.

Situations that may prevent delivery to your preferred spot include:

  • Power lines that are too low to tip under

  • Slopes or hills that make tipping unsafe

  • Low roof eaves preventing truck access

  • Overhanging trees that are too low

  • Narrow driveways or large hedges

  • Ground that is wet or muddy

Firewood Order Cancellations

Order Cancellations & Refunds
You can cancel your firewood order for a full refund. If the delivery vehicle is already loaded or on the way, an $88 fee will apply unless we can redirect the load elsewhere.

Product Issues
If your order has been delivered and there’s a problem with the firewood, call us on 1800 435 263. We’ll resolve the issue quickly—either by replacing the product, removing it, or issuing a full refund at no extra cost.
